THE PUSHIEST PRO-PALESTINIAN OF ALL, SCRAMBLING TO THE TOP
On Sunday morning Justice Minister Zipi Livni will ask the ministers to vote on whether Shai Nitzan should be State Prosecutor, or whether Shai Nitzan would be better.
Yes – as in totalitarian countries, Livni is proposing only one candidate, for "one of the most important and influential positions in the State of Israel"

If this were a consensus candidate who everyone looks up to, having just ONE candidate might be understandable.
But Mr. Nitzan (see many Hebrew language links above) is a much-feared figure who has mercilessly and without cause pursued pro-Palestinian, anti-settler policies for years.
To give one small example, acting in a previous position, he jailed hundreds of peaceful Gush Katif protestors —
but ensured that the violent police from the Amona pogrom were not prosecuted!
Now, if appointed as State Prosecutor, Mr. Nitzan will have complete control over drafting State of Israel position papers submitted to the Bagatz (High Court of Justice).
He will be able to slant those position papers to be as anti-settlement as he pleases — all in the name of the Government of Israel.
Put your finger in the dike to stop Mr. Nitzan before he gets the power to de-legitimize the Government, the State and the Yehuda and Shomron communities.
